In 2017, the Summer School in Experimental Research in Management Accounting took place at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany). The Workshop was headed by Prof. Dr. Marcel van Rinsum. Professor van Rinsum has published in leading accounting journals such as The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, European Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, and Management Accounting Research. Again, the workshop was attended by doctoral students froim various German universities. The Summer School was funded by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
